Type of Therapy
Meridith specializes in using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with both her individual and couple clients. Emotionally Focused Therapy is an evidence based treatment model, meaning its effectiveness has been supported by extensive and rigorous research.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a structured approach that prioritizes deep, lasting healing over short-term symptom relief. Rather than focusing only on what’s showing up on the surface, we explore and work through the underlying core wounds, fears, and vulnerabilities. The result is meaningful, lasting change that continues well beyond the end of therapy.

What are sessions like?
Meridith brings a warm, curious, and engaged presence that feels like the comfort of sitting with a close friend while offering expert clinical insight and impartiality.
Sessions with Meridith are grounded in safety, acceptance, and non-judgmental care. Each session builds on the last as we slowly expand your emotional window of tolerance, sense of safety, and responsiveness to vulnerable emotion.
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Meridith helps you connect with and respond to your emotions in a safe, supportive space. Together, we tune into emotions as they arise, uncover the roots of emotional triggers, and build stronger, more adaptive ways of responding—helping you feel more balanced, understood, and connected in your relationships.
Meridith welcomes and affirms all kinds of relationships, couples, partnerships, marriages, ethnicities, races, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
Meridith honors diversity of all kind and creates space to explore the impact and role these identities play in your life and in therapy.
